Scoring
Start with the value beside your winning row.
| American mahjong result | Payment |
|---|---|
| Win on a discard | The discarder pays double. Each other player pays the row value. |
| Win on your own draw | All three other players pay double. |
| Eligible win without jokers | Double each payment again. Singles and Pairs does not receive this bonus confirm. |
For a row worth 25, a discard win pays 50 from the discarder and 25 from each other player. With an eligible jokerless hand, those payments become 100 and 50.
Some home groups enjoy playing without keeping a running score. Ask how your table likes to play before you start. Siamese has different payments.
