Dead hands
An exposure that fits no row on the card makes the hand dead.
- In American play, a dead hand stops drawing and calling but still pays the winner.
- TileClack marks an impossible exposure dead automatically. At a table, another player calls it based on visible tiles confirm.
- Jokers in the exposure that made the hand dead cannot be exchanged. Jokers in earlier valid exposures remain available.
- In Siamese, one dead rack leaves you playing with the other. If the other rack is already declared, you stop taking turns.
Before calling, check that your group fits a row you can still complete.
